Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Kingsland Concrete website and any estimate or work you get from us. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
Your signed estimate or contract for a specific job comes first. If it says something different from these terms, the contract controls for that job.
What we do
Kingsland Concrete is a concrete contractor in Kingsland, GA, and we work in the cities around it in Georgia and Florida. We pour driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, pool decks, garage floors and other flatwork, the flat slabs you walk or drive on. We also build slabs, footings, foundations and retaining walls, and we do stamped and decorative concrete, concrete cutting and foundation raising. You can read more about our crew.
What you see on our home page and service pages is general information about the work. It isn't a quote or a promise about your job, because every yard is different until we've seen it.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free and done on site, because the ground, the drainage and how we get equipment in all change the price. An estimate covers the work it describes, at the price it states, for as long as it says it's good for.
Some things only show up once the job is open, like soft subgrade, the dirt the slab sits on, buried debris, roots or old concrete thicker than it looked. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you and give you the added cost in writing before we go on. You don't pay for extra work you didn't approve, and any change you ask for after signing gets priced in writing the same way.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We give you a start date when you book, and we'll call you if it has to move. Concrete depends on the weather, so rain, wet ground or hard heat can push a pour back, and we'd rather wait a day than pour a slab that won't hold up.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (912) 456-0139 or reach us through our contact page as early as you can. Once we've ordered concrete, set forms or bought materials for your job, those costs may not be refundable, and your contract says what you owe if you cancel after that point.
Your part of the job
Please give us clear access to the work area and tell us before we dig about sprinkler lines, buried pipes or wires, septic systems and where your property line sits. We aren't responsible for damage to buried items we weren't told about.
Some jobs need a permit from your city or county, and your contract will say who is responsible for getting it. If you're not sure whether your job needs one, ask the city or county building office where the house is.
Fresh concrete needs time to cure, to harden and gain strength, before it can take foot traffic or a vehicle. We'll tell you when it's ready, so keep cars, kids and pets off it until then, because damage from early use isn't covered.
Payment
Your estimate or contract sets out what you pay, when you pay it and any deposit. Unless it says otherwise, the final payment is due when the work in the contract is done.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid and use the ways of collecting that Georgia law allows.
Warranty and normal cracking
Any warranty on our work is the one written in your contract. Apart from that, and as far as the law allows, our work and this website come without other promises, spoken or implied.
Concrete can crack even when it's poured right. We cut control joints, grooves that give the slab a place to crack where it won't show, so hairline cracks along those joints or small surface cracks are normal and not a defect.
Color and texture on stamped or decorative work can vary from samples and photos. We also aren't responsible for damage from loads heavier than the slab was built for, deicing salts, tree roots, ground movement under areas we didn't prepare or water draining onto the slab from elsewhere on the property.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and insured, and we fix what's ours to fix. As far as the law allows, Kingsland Concrete isn't liable for indirect losses like lost use, lost income or inconvenience, and our total liability on a job is limited to what you paid us for it.
We aren't responsible for how you use the general information on this site or for outside websites we link to. Nothing here limits anything Georgia law doesn't allow us to limit.
Settling a disagreement
If something looks wrong, call us first, because most problems get fixed faster on site than on paper and we'll come take a look. Please give us a fair chance to make it right before taking other steps.
If we can't work it out between us, either side can bring the matter to a state or federal court in Georgia that has jurisdiction over it.
Which state's law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If your job is in Florida, the local rules that apply to work on that property still apply to it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and post the new version on this page. The version in place when you sign your contract is the one that applies to your job.
If you have a question about any of this, call us at (912) 456-0139.
